Position Overview:

Care.com is looking for a Data Insights Analyst III to join the Analytics & Data Insights team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong interest in understanding the Enterprise business and be able to leverage data, technology, and analytics to generate actionable insights that support critical business decisions.

Work Environment: Hybrid (Onsite - Monday, Wednesday & Thursday) | Office Location: Dallas Texas - 2801 North Central Expressway 

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist Finance, Marketing, and Product teams in tackling intricate business challenges. Formulate data-driven strategies and convey key findings through compelling narratives to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Work with the Enterprise Finance team to analyze client usage, invoicing and internal forecasting and reporting.
  • Partner with the Enterprise Marketing team to improve engagement with Enterprise products by converting data insights into testable hypotheses through analytical rigor.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Product teams, specifically Lifemart, to report performance to internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Take ownership, from definition to reporting, of metrics related to the functional area that you support
  • Develop advanced metrics and visuals, by collecting and integrating data from various sources, including web analytics tools and internal databases
  • Be a Care data guru - be the point of contact for all data questions and insights

Who You Are: 

  • 5+ years of professional experience in a business intelligence analyst and/or data analyst position
  • Expert SQL skills are required (Snowflake, Mysql)
  • Proven ability in data analysis, structuring, transforming, and visualization is required, with a strong preference for Tableau. Experience with Domo, PowerBI, or Looker will also be considered.
  • Experience measuring the impact of products and/or marketing initiatives on conversion and revenue
  • Experience Influencing product and marketing teams to make data-driven decisions
  • Take initiative in solving business questions that data could potentially answer by producing top-down data-driven solutions to address them
  • Strong product development mindset and focus on actionable analytics: e.g., Ability to surface signals in our data and work with Product/Engineering to transform these into concrete tests
  • Experience building comprehensive dashboards
  • Experience completing exploratory deep dives into data to find ways to optimize the customer experience
  • Experience using relational databases and big data via writing performant queries in SQL against large datasets in various environments
  • Experience crafting and presenting complex business case studies
  • Ability to work independently with high-level direction
  • Willingness to proactively engage with partners across many disciplines
  • Consistent ability to produce quality, accurate and highly detailed work product 
  • Experience with Amplitude, a plus 
  • Be a creative, global thinker & team player
  • Statistical knowledge and modeling, a plus

Salary Range: $110,000 to $125,000. 

The base salary range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the national salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Care.com’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and short- and long-term incentives. In addition, Care.com provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life, and disability insurance, a generous 401K employer matching program, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
